Oklahoma defensive lineman David Stone suffered an undisclosed lower-body injury in practice, according to Nick Schulz of On3.com, and his status for the Sooners' September 26 road game against Georgia is now in question. Stone is reportedly undergoing further testing to determine the extent of the issue.

Stone, listed at 6-foot-3 and 294 pounds, recorded 42 tackles, eight tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks last season. He has 12 tackles so far this year, including two behind the line of scrimmage.

Oklahoma enters the Week 4 contest off a 14-6 home win over New Mexico on September 19, a game in which quarterback John Mateer threw two interceptions. The Sooners' defense has been strong in recent weeks against both New Mexico and Michigan, but Stone is a key piece against a Georgia rushing attack led by quarterback Gunner Stockton.

Georgia's offense put up 464 yards and 45 points in a win over Arkansas on September 19. If Stone is unable to play, Oklahoma's run defense could face a tougher test against the Bulldogs' ground game in the SEC matchup.
