Rams Roll Past Giants 28-6 on Monday Night, but Fans Stay Skeptical

Los Angeles picked up its first win of the season by dominating New York after Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart exited with a knee injury.

The Los Angeles Rams earned their first victory of the season on Monday Night Football, defeating the New York Giants 28-6. The win came after a season-opening loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne.

The game turned when Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart left with what is believed to be a sprained MCL. New York played most of the contest without him and was unable to mount any realistic threat to come back.

Fan reaction on social media was split. Some credited the Rams for handling business against a short-handed opponent, while others argued the blowout said little because of the Giants' injuries.

One fan pointed to the Rams' upcoming matchup with the Seattle Seahawks and quarterback Drew Lock, saying the team was not yet ready for that test. Another noted that the roster's talent level was clear despite the uncertainty around the team.

Even so, head coach Sean McVay got his team into the win column after the disappointing opener, and the Rams' defense closed out the game with a strong fourth quarter.
