Herbert Touchdown Put Chargers Ahead Before Raiders Pulled Away

The key sequence began when Herbert evaded pressure and hit Tre Harris on a 53-yard completion, moving the Chargers into Raiders territory. Two plays later, Herbert connected with tight end Oronde Gadsden II on a 10-yard scoring pass, putting Los Angeles ahead 14-10 with 9:49 left in the third quarter.

Singer Madison Beer, attending the game, was shown celebrating the touchdown in a video posted on the NFL's official Instagram account.

The lead did not hold. Las Vegas answered with a touchdown on its next possession and moved back in front, and a late Los Angeles fumble set up another Raiders scoring chance as the visitors pulled away.

The loss dropped the Chargers to 0-2 on the season after their opening-week defeat, leaving the team searching for answers heading into its next matchup.
