Jaguars Week 2 snap counts: Hunter sees more defensive work, Tuten leads backs

Travis Hunter played 37 cornerback snaps and seven on offense, while Bhayshul Tuten led Jacksonville running backs with 30 snaps in the loss to Denver.

Snap count data from the Jacksonville Jaguars' Week 2 game against the Denver Broncos showed Travis Hunter continuing to split his time between offense and defense, with the bulk of his work coming at cornerback.

Hunter logged 37 defensive snaps at cornerback, an increase from the previous week, and appeared on offense for seven plays without being targeted in the passing game. The cornerback rotation also included Montaric Brown with 49 snaps and Jarrian Jones with 39.

At running back, Bhayshul Tuten played 30 snaps, the most among Jacksonville's backs, ahead of Chris Rodriguez with 13. Tuten carried 13 times and averaged 5.0 yards per attempt against the Denver front on a day when the Jaguars ran 60 offensive plays in total.

At linebacker, Ventrell Miller played 47 snaps alongside starter Foye Oluokun, while Branson Combs was limited to 13 snaps in situational duty.
