Nebraska Opens Big Ten Play at Michigan State Saturday

The unbeaten Huskers (3-0) hit the road for the first time this season to face Michigan State in their Big Ten opener, kicking off at 4 p.m.

Nebraska enters its first Big Ten game of the season with a 3-0 record following a 34-7 home win over North Dakota on Saturday. Despite the unbeaten start, the Huskers sit outside the top 25 and picked up just two votes in the latest poll.

Head coach Matt Rhule's team now faces its first road test of the year, traveling to Michigan State for a 4 p.m. kickoff on Saturday.

Rhule said he is confident in how his players have prepared and believes they are committed to doing things the right way. He noted the trip will bring new challenges, including crowd noise in a hostile environment and the experience of staying in a hotel the night before a game.

"We know the battle that it will be, so we have to be ready to go, have to have our best week and get out there and just play," Rhule said.
