Training camp for the IceHogs begins Wednesday morning in Rockford, Illinois, and players have already started arriving in the city.
The group sent down includes defensemen Cavan Fitzgerald, Ashton Cumby, Jake Furlong and Taige Harding, along with forwards Gavin Hays, Paul Ludwinski and Samuel Savoie.
Goaltenders Stanislav Berezhnoy and Adam Gajan round out the moves.
